In Britain, at any rate, people would see "mobile phone battery" as meaning "battery which powers a mobile phone". "Mobile phone", is how we refer to what Americans call "cell phones", and thus that set phrase forces the meaning.

Thank you Cen, I'm continually amazed and impressed by your instant responses. I feel however I should explain a certain 'logic' in which the technically 'truth' might be presented in a slightly humorous form
