Doesn't need any improvement, except maybe a comma after the song title, and band names are not usually italicised.

Nope. American and British style guides say the same thing. Capitalise band name, put album or song titles in quotes:

"Daydreaming" is a song by Radiohead.

However when I ast BH and she 'gested " ' " ' s, and I responded, "Then how 'bou'talics?" , she agreed, 'Yes, italics, that's good, I like that'

And she's smarter'n me
