Which of the following sentences is correct?

1) The trousers will be ready in three weeks.

2) The trousers will be ready in three weeks' time.

If both are possible, do they mean the same thing?

If so, which is more commonly used?

They both mean the same thing and are both commonly used.

You need to change your dry cleaners if you think three weeks is a reasonable amount of time to wait, btw.
