I am completing my EPQ and basing my 5000 essay on this question, I was just wondering if anyone had any incite or stats and figures that could help me

Plastic waste is one of
many factors threatening the health of the oceans and at present there doesn't seem to be any way we can remove the microscopic particles of plastic in the water. We can, however, put bans on plastic bags, micro-beads, and work to prevent further accumulation.
