Wow, I'm late to this one, but looks like no consensus yet.

The first thing I'm going to say is that I hate ambiguity in the LC.
1. The Friday thing - is it 11, 22, 33, 44 or 11, 22, 44, 88? Do we add 11 each time or do we keep doubling each time?
2. Is it specific to the current month of Relaxing, or do they want the maximum you could obtain in some month of Relaxing? I still need to go back and figure out if the month starting on Wednesday (like the current one) gives you the maximum or not.

That said, I did make one assumption:
You were getting jellies in the previous month, so when it says that on Tuesday, you get 4 more jellies than the previous Tuesday, you get 5 on the first Tuesday of Relaxing. Similarly, you need to roll in some days with 1 jelly into the first Sunday's average.

Given that assumption and going with 11, 22, 33, 44 for Friday, I get a 5-digit number with a digit sum of 33 for the month of Relaxing in the current year.

@qtmimib,
i began on we dnesday because the month of june began on a wednesday. and for the first sunday, i did the entire 7 days, so it was mon/tues of may (so one jelly for each of those days), and then wed-sat. added all these days and then divided by 7.

@felineforever,
Oh okay I understand, thanks!
So I figured out my answer and my digits totalled to 24 [I noticed everyone was posting this so I decided I should as well].

Actually, I just tried it differently and came up with a sum of 33.

@qtmimib,
Seems like you got it right. the sum of 24 and 33 are the most common. I think. I still like my answer with 11, 22, 44, and 88.

Because: 11 for the first Friday, double that for the second, and so on.

So I think that doubling i would be better. Smile

yeah i did 11, 22, 33, 44, etc but i think i was suppossed to do 11 22 44 88, but then again, it wasn't overly clear. Could have gone either way

For Nimmo Day, a particular Nimmo decided to go shopping...

She bought one item for 2811 Np. Then she bought an item for 13520 NP. And then, she bought something for 2156 NP.

What is the combined cost of the next two items she bought? Please submit only a number with no punctuation and no other information.

THIS WEEKS PUZZLE - ends Next Wednesday, most likely

Recently, Neopets celebrated their one trillionth pageview. To celebrate, the user TrillionFTW auctioned and traded many ultra rare items, which were purchased by many a lucky Neopian.

How many Neopoints did TrillionFTW make during this sale? Submit only a number with no punctuation, and with no other text. Because we're judging this one differently than usual, it's important to submit only a number. The first 250 guesses within one million Neopoints of the correct answer will receive the prize; and the person with the closest guess will receive an additional, special prize.

cool o: I have no idea what I'm going to submit yet though =/

Lenny Conundrum #409

Looking up at the bleachers at a Yooyuball game, you saw a row of Neopets cheering on their buddies, being as social as ever.

From left to right, they were seated accordingly:
- Poogle
- Lupe
- Hissi
- Bruce
- Kyrii
- Kiko
- Bori
- Gnorbu
- Kau
- Acara
- Techo
- Kougra
- Mynci
- Blumaroo

What was the next Neopet?

The current prize for the first 250 correct entries is a Fire Guitar. You will also get a cool trophy that people can see when they do a user lookup on you! And all correct entries will split the 2,000,000 Neopoint prize pool.

THIS WEEKS PUZZLE - ends Next Wednesday, most likely

Suppose you only have 10 Neopoints, but you really want a Portable Kiln. How many tosses in "Double or Nothing" must you win in order to be able to afford a Portable Kiln in the Hidden Tower?

A local signmaker wanted to make a sign honoring all Neopets in Neopia. He took the names of all of the Neopet species in Neopia, and had each of the letters in their names hand carved on individual tiles, which he was going to put on display. However, at some point, all of the letters got all scrambled.

And when he got the tiles, he realized that he had forgotten one Neopet name! Oops!

What Neopet did he forget to include?

Got my answer for this week. It took me longer than I thought it would, plus I started a little late, so I doubt I'll get in the top 250. I'm fairly confident of my answer though.

Answer to last week's: Ruki

Relatively simple solution. Count the number of occurrences of each letter in the picture. Count the number of occurrences of each letter in the names of all the Neopets. Unscramble the four differences to get the answer. Just a matter of being careful.
