Under competitions, that makes sense. Thank you so much! It was making me crazy!

I got that so fast because I searched Google using the keywords Neopets and two of the most uncommon words I could think of - Pageant and Brigade. One of the hits was the Random Contest entry on the Neodex. I figured the numerical pattern out from there :3
Here's a conundrum: Why is the Mystery Pic answer such a closely-guarded secret, compared to the LC? =p It seems as though the prize is higher on average for MP--or is it that fewer people are competing because there isn't an avatar for it like for LC?
Probably because it's changed more often than the LC. The Mystery Pic is, if I recall, changed twice weekly, whereas the LC is only once. So there's less time to figure it out, and more content to sift through. Let's face it - Neopets is very image-intensive, so it's a lot harder to figure it out, even without the shorter time constraints. It's not like dealing with a math problem or logic puzzle.

I'm still very impressed. I tried using Google to search the Neopets domain, but it didn't find anything as all the words are on different pages. I also tried a general search with all the words, but didn't find anything useful. Even the page you found is missing the contests with the Now and Jewellery words. I was thinking that Jewellery with the unusual British spelling might be a good search as well, but since it isn't on the page, it wouldn't have helped.
Anyway, even getting to the page, you needed to find the other words and then figure out the pattern. Nice work.
