But how can the answer be 15 if A itself is worth 19 ?

Yes but that would mean that the sum is at least 19 if the word has an A in it, and there are no negative numbers, so how can the sum be less than the point value ?

Let's say Altador. The answer for that is 88. 78+8==16.

Werty, I dont think you are supposed to add each digit. You are supposed to add the points as they are, not reduce the number...

yeah, I have the answer. But a hint was that it added up to 15 (the digits) so i was helping out lollipop

gah,
I lost de maze puzzle as i worked with the 3/4 of a room at the ends of 2 tunnels,
they should've been more clear about details like these Sad

Check over your work again. And as other people have stated the sum of the digits is 15.

Using the letter list posted above, I got...

TERROR MOUNTAIN
11+14+16+16+10+16+4+10+7+11+11+19+11+11
=167

Can anyone tell me where I've gone wrong? Sad

I might've been too vague. I meant check ALL of your work, because the points you got for Terror Mountain is right, but it's not the highest.

I can't see who else will be more than that or Terror Mountain.

the answer is actually name of team at 167 points!
actually it is 168

Can I have a clue as to which team it is? Razz
The two I've tried have both come out at 167 (Darigan and Terror Mountain).

Is it an arithmetic slip or have I tried the wrong teams? Most of the others look like they can't even nearly get to 168 points...
