Unity, I was kind of thinking along those lines...like what if they are items obtained in usuki frenzy or nc shopping race...

yeah, maybe an old plot, or theonlygurl suggested "maybe there's a quest/game/whatever that gives out a food as a prize for round 1, a piece of furniture for round 2, etc., etc." which is a good start for some brainstorming. maybe a past quest or something that had 8 rounds? i'm not too familiar with that kind of stuff though so i'd have no idea where to begin looking...

I agree. The problem is that with the game ids the numbers were very specific. 1-8 could be specific numbers assigned to something, or it could be the order in which the items occur on a specific page or any number of other things.

This is all I have come up with and nothing makes since really...add up all the rarities and you divide by 7 and get 127 the Gold Spectra Battlecard..or divide by 8 and you get 111 which is Blibble, Fungus Cabinet, Magical Starry Techo Plushie, Rotting Riches Scratchcard, Silver Chuffer Bob Battlecard, Tyrannian Dung Cheese or Weewoo..I like Weewoo out of these 7, and there is sand in his land. I was thinking it will come from a world with sand. I have looked high and low on the beaches of the worlds. I am lost and need a life jacket! haha! I will BRB with more...

I really dont think it has anything to do with item ids either because there is no way for us to find the id for sword of the air faerie or faerie kad. I like that the shop ids seemed to have a repetition to them, but even that wouldnt lead us to a specific item, only to a shop...

Ive searched the neopedia for stories mentioning those items, but have come up empty handed. Not that its necessarily a dead end, just that I couldnt find anything.

What are we missing?!?!

I don't know if this is significant, but five of the seven items have at least one grammatical or spelling error in the item descriptions. Sword of the air faerie does not. Nor does the faerie kadoatie.

Have we thought about maybe the items are answers to past mystery pics? Or maybe images from consecutive caption contest pics? Does anyone know of a list of mystery pic answers that wouldnt require sifting through all of them on neo?

Yeah thats what Im thinking. Something really obscure since we havent stumbled across it yet.

So the prize for this lenny is a wearable. And since each item is in a distinct category, Im thinking, again, that aisle 8 contains some sort of wearable.

also on eight page of something I was looking up on jellyneo was this item I found which was a handful of sand rarity 101...relating to the bucket of sand...

also I took the first letter from first word and then second letter from second word and so on and came up with woeadea, does this spell an Neopian Word?

Or the last letter from the first word and so on I got netrauh, which is unearth...

and some how I got these letters and I do not know if they spell a neopian word...etteddeo..

I said the Item ID, not the rarity. The only way that I know of to get the item ID number is to shop wiz it and hover my mouse over the shop owners name.
