Reverse popularity?
I thought "well, Moehogs aren;t popular" so looked at the reverse popularity... started to look at all countries where Moehog was at number 38.

I went to HK first as some people here fixated on HK, and yes, Moehog was 38...... but Lenny wasn't #37.....

My reasoning was that Number 38 would be the country's most popular pet... unfortunately I have to go off to work very soon, plus hey it's 530 in the morning I haven't fully awoken yet :-P

I honestly don't trust ANYTHING the neopets boards says as most ppl are misleading others.

So what if it has to do with a game? Like different levels you have different opponents. I can't think of a game that would have 38 levels though...

Everyone is saying not to 'overthink' this one, and that a newbie would be better able to figure it out. Perhaps we're just missing something...

TNT wouldn't make it as obvious as 'Name' or 'Hello' would they? And it can't be a species name because it says that he calls out her name. And you wouldn't call out someone's nationality (species) if you saw them would you? But that might be overthinking it, and maybe it is just a species...

Some ideas, what do you think?

1) the name is "a friend"

2) the name is "way back"

3) the answer is "the korbat's own name"

Hi, new here, but anyways... I was told that if you go to any user look up and look at the top of the page at the banner that says lookup the answer is there next to the Korbat, which would be a Usul, in a hurry I put Usul as the answer, but now I am thinking that I should have put the name of the Usul which would be "Sally". I have no idea if this is ever right though, but good luck, hope it helps....

I believe it has something to do with lists- if you get a list of user lookup shields, the Newbie shield is a moehog. "At the front of the line was a Moehog."

It follows in order:

Lenny at three days
Meerca at 2 weeks
Techo at 3 weeks
Poogle at 1 month
Cybunny at 2 months

Except, the 1 week shield is a flotsam, which messes with the order. But otherwise, three shields down, and the next shield is a korbat at 5 months. Starting from this shield, if you go down 38 more places, you'll be at the shield for 49 months. This shield has Koya, the korbat huntress. Which would be a likely friend to the korbat...

Any other thoughts on this?

The 38th shield is the Snow Faerie, but the 38th month shield is of someone I don't recognize.

The question says "a Korbat spotted a friend way back in the 38th spot in line", so wouldn't that make it the 38th shield?
