Yes, with the following caveats:
1. I'm assuming the prize was never greater than 30,000 NP before they changed the prize structure in September 2004.
2. I'm assuming the prize amount for 11/15/04 was small, since there were 3698 winners. This was before this forum started, so I can't check back.
3. Finally, for 9/20/04, Round 84, there was no amount or number of winners given, but the problem doesn't seem too hard, so I'm going to assume it is under 30,000 as well.

For those of you looking for the past amounts, they are in the archives of the new features.

I got a multiple of 5 and the same first digit as both of you for the 30K prize.

Yup, 50 numbers, but my total gave me two decimal digits when I divided by 50. I'm guessing you have either a transcription or a summation error - good luck finding it.

Okay, I have to run. I have no idea what to do about the sequence, although I have values for the other three numbers.

My only guess on the sequence would be that it is a sequence of Lenny answers, but if so, I have no idea of when.

That is what I'm also thinking, the numbers are answers to past LCs, once you figure out the puzzle numbers you figure the sequence.

I just went through all the odd-numbered puzzles AGAIN and found my error was reserving 2 of the digits in one prize. The LAST out of the 50 prizes I double-checked, of course. But now my average has exactly 2 decimal points, with the number 6 appearing twice yes?

I got 7 _ _ _. _ 4 with no sixes.

I am getting 2000 lower than both of you...

For the first part of the question. Has anyone made progress on the number sequence? I've got a pattern for the first 3 but it could end in 2 different ways at this point.

No, I haven't found anything. I have the other three numbers too...

I have a hunch that the sequence has to do with previous LC answers, but I cannot prove anything at this point and I've looked through almost all of them.

Oh holy moly. I think I might possibly have figured out the first number sequence. It certainly DOES have something to do with past LC answers.

I have all the numbers except for that darned sequence! I do think it has to do something with previous LCs, because the whole question also involves LCs.

and those of you with different combo than 7 _ _ _ . _ _ with 6s, you may be getting some even rounds for the # of neopoints, because sometimes they continued a LC for an extra week or didn't have one at all.
