I've tried the obvious starting letters for questions and got nothing. Made no sense trying to move the number of letters from the one you were in at that point, as in H-O-U, clock-wisely.

Well, looks like this was the correct answer. I got top 250, but didn't advance on the high score list. Excel only gives me to three decimal digits, but I got 623671.095 and submitted 623671 as my answer.

Looks like Lenny came out early today. I found it at just about 3 pm Neopian time, maybe a couple of minutes before. I've never gotten around to figuring out how to link to an image on the BB, so I left it for someone else to post. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get an early start and do well this week.

2642 got last week's Lenny! I'm guessing a lot of people got the answer from somewhere instead of figuring it out. That seems like a pretty high number to have actually done the calculations.

from "somewhere?" Haven't you noticed by now an interesting correlation between the number of people answering the LC correctly, and the LC answer being posted here?

A couple of weeks ago, when people were posting the wrong answer on this board, there were only 46 correct entries. That can't be a coincidence.

starting with A = 1 doesn't look promising

OK, so by now, i've quickly tried the first two letters for every combination, and no viable results. And I strongly believe TNT wouldn't do something that simple. Plus, what's with the three 's in a row?

Oh, Jen Aside already posted it on the previous page. And now that I look at the editor, the image BBCode is right up there on top of the edit box. All I would need to do is right click on the image on the Lenny Conundrum page to look at the properties and copy the link inside the [ img ] tags. Obvious, once I think about it.

I know. That was supposed to be my subtle way of suggesting that people only provide hints and guidance about how to solve the conundrum instead of giving the actual answer. However, that issue has been argued over and over again. Some people want to be helpful and provide the final answer; I'm just on the opposite side of the issue.

So now we try counterclockwise? And I'm not sure you can say that it doesn't work from just the first two letters. I think I would give it at least five. After all, it could be something like "Xweetoks have what colour eyes". And yes, I know that probably doesn't have the right number of letters and may vary depending on what colour the Xweetok is painted - it is just an example of why the first two letters might not be sufficient.

Before i was giving answers somewhere esle....But i stopped...Now i have a family...i think about this as a game...So...But everyone has a different opinion about it....

My thought is that the numbers are how many letters to move around the circle, so 8 wouldn't be any letter, but the three 8's in a row would say to move 8 spaces to the next letter, three times in a row.

I know, it is definitely a game. I just think it makes it a more fun game if people have to make at least a bit of an effort to come up with the answer instead of having it just handed to them to allow them to get a few Neopoints. Now on the other hand, TNT does a terrible job of providing reasons and solutions, so having someplace that gives the solutions after the round has been judged would be a great resource. And this board is good for letting people kick around ideas and not be just lost at sea.
