Some do; some don't. Why?
allankovac480 wrote:if anyone knows the lenny coundrum answers can you please tell me
Um... why not just review the thread to get the answers? Or were you wanting the answer to a puzzle from before the thread started?
Eliz.
Yeah! I've got one or two other oldies that were stumping me
Which are they? What have you tried? How far have you gotten? Where are you stuck?
Eliz.
The answer is H4
Dear i have no name,
Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 128). You have won 1098 NP and been awarded a Wocky Hide and Seek Book!
Yours Sincerely,
The Neopets Team!
I received the same email. Thought if you got the book, you got a trophy. cannot find it anywhere. Help!!!!!
I got the book, too, and I answered hours and hours after everyone else

because I went to bed after I posted that for y'all when I couldn't get it on my own
Now I feel bad, I didn't earn that book and NP

Round 78's giving me a tough time... I just can't get any combination of, "Well, maybe they thought this did this," to make the math work

Number Six was recently addicted to the game
Meepit Juice Break. So much so, that he actually forgot to do Lenny Conundrums for a few months. When gently reminded that Lenny Conundrum needed to be worked on, he started to think of a new conundrum based on Meepit Juice Break.
At the time he started thinking about it, Number Six had 2087 points at the beginning of level 5 of Meepit Juice Break.
Assuming that in this particular game, there are always exactly 6 of each type of fruit on the board, what is the maximum possible total score Number Six could have at the end of level 5?
Answer: 4241 points
Come on Neopets, hurry up and give us the new conundrum.
It's 11.14 p.m. in the UK and I have to go to bed soon
Do they always announce the new one at the beginning of an hour or can it be anytime?
I love Trying to figure these out and I am glad that I found this board!

I think it is anytime so people dont just sit there at the hour to get the conundrum. This way it gives slower people a better chance, not much better mind you, but better non-the-less to figure out the answer and get a trophy.
129:
In the first round of Snow Wars II, the Grundos surrounded their snowman with 75 ice blocks.
During the attack stage, assume every enemy catapult can fire 2 shots per round, and each shot is aimed at a unique ice block.
During the rebuild stage (i.e. the beginning of round 2), the Grundos are able to add an additional 45 ice blocks to their wall.
Assuming that the Grundos never fire their catapults at the enemies, in what round will the Grundos have no ice blocks at the end of the attack stage?
now on the game, during each round they get one morre catapult then they recieved the round before? (ie... round 1 = 2 catapults, round 2 = 3 new catapults for a total of 5, round 3 = 4 new for a total of 9). not sure if that is the way it goes, but if it then the answer is all the blocks will be destroyed in the 42nd round.
need some help with the number of catapults added each round before i submit my answer though. anyone?
Oh, crap, I forgot that they're not firing...

that means my answer is wrong
I got round 43, though, while I'm pretty sure they'd be finished long before then if there are more enemies than I thought.
Actually, in the game, only one catapult is added after round 1 (where two are added). However, I think they stop adding after a certain number of rounds...
Edited to correct my misunderstanding.
hmm
Are you all assuming that they add 45 ice blocks with every round?
I did not think of that.......without adding them it would be over by round 6
duhhh i'm a moron.... i was thinking that my calculations were for the begining of the round. I also say 43. but i'm still not sure about the whole catapult thing
round 2, if you do not hit any catapults, they begin the round with 5.
submitted 43 as my answer
LC
i got round 9 for an answer, the enimies that some in go round 1=2, round 2=5 (2+3), round 3=9 (2+3+4) etc...
round 1= 45 blocks. 2 enimies= 4 blocks destroyed( they can only fire 2 shots per round so 2*2)
at the end they have 41 blocks, rebuild 45= 86 blocks
round 2= 86, 5 enemies= 10 blocks, 76 left, 45 rebuilt= 121
round 3= 121, 9 enemies= 18 blocks, 103 left, 45 rebuilt= 148.
round 4= 148, 14 enemies= 28 blocks, 120 left, 45 rebuilt= 165.
round 5= 165, 20 enemies= 40 blocks, 125 left, 45 rebuilt= 170.
round 6= 170, 27 enemies= 54 blocks, 116 left, 45 rebuilt= 161
round 7= 161, 35 enemies= 70 blocks, 91 left, 45 rebuilt= 136.
round 8= 136, 44 enemies= 88 blocks, 48 left, 45 rebuilt= 93.
round 9= 93, 54 enemies= 108 blocks= -15 blocks left
LC
ooops my bad, i meant round 10, duh, they started with 75 blocks which would add 30 to all the numbers which would make 1 more round to survive so the answer is round 10
