i think you will upgrade to silver

Try to get your answer in as fast as possible, and I have seen people skip from no trophy right to silver. So it must be something like being in the top 50.. or top 20 or something. I myself went from none to Silver, then from Silver to 2x Champ right away... but since then I've placed in the top 250 4 or 5 times and no upgrade to 3x. So I must not have been fast enough.

It seems like even they don't know how to score these. It's irritating, I wish it would just be "GOALD!!1" or nothing, like with Picture Competitions and that. I mean, at least with Caption Competitions, we can see who came in first [top 3] and second [the rest of the selected winners], with third being whoever's left who made the voting that round. Lenny, we pretty much have to pick up the pieces after the fact as to who won what, which is irritating.

Figures there'd be a power outage at work so I can't work. Luckily, the LC Lenny was smiling upon me and didn't cruelly update while I was fighting traffic to get back home

I have an awful feeling that this week's LC will be a maths-based one. Judging by previous maths-based LCs, it won't be anything I can possibly do...

Suppose you're playing Destruct-O-Match III, and, on level one of Classic mode, you find that every block is the same colour!

How many points will you get for completing level one, assuming no powerups?

I dont know if this helps, but I counted 168 total blocks.

And am I wrong that you get a 250 point bonus for clearing all the blocks in a level?

Well, the levels are 14x12 grids so...

Yes, and yes =)

There's a bonus of up to--I believe--100 points if you just clear all the blocks, whether all at once or not. I haven't worked out the bonus for each additional block in a chain, though

I believe it would be 168 and 100 bonus for a total of 268 on the new game.

No way, you get additional points when you clear more than... five, I think, blocks at a time, as opposed to just groups of two or three.

Or was 250 the bonus in DOMII?

in destructo III the bonus for clearing all the blocks is 100. 250 was the DII.
