Yeah that pattern makes sense. Do you think that's it? Seems too easy!

AMULET - 6 letters
MARAQUA - 7 letters
MONDAY - 6 letters
PATCHES - 7 letters
ROCKY - 5 letters
SCHOOL - 6 letters
SWEET - 5 letters
everything goes in alphabetical order and if i follow the pattern i saw then Shoyru would finish off the last 6 letter word and is also the first S six letter neopet.. Then for a 4 letter neopet that is either S or after i found Tonu... if that makes any sence to anyone else
Did you figure Tonu before Usul because it came first? would make the most sense.
I think I shall enter Shoyru and Tonu.
I did not get the pattern of the Shoyru and Tonu thing either, and I'm hella good with patterns.
My first thought was also of which Maraquan pets there are, like the koi. Not the ones that are painted, then a lot could be maraquan.
A lot of "What do these words have in common?" lists put the words in alphabetical order just to have them in order--it doesn't affect the actual thing they have in common. For instance:
APPLE
BANANA
PEACH
PEAR
STRAWBERRY
are all names of fruits, and that's what they have in common. Alphabetizing has nothing to do with it.
I think it's a great observation, but that doesn't identify what each of the words has in common, unless the pattern is what they have in common....
I'm not sure about the shoyru/tonu answer. It says that the words have something in common, not what comes next in the series. I did a google search for the words and came up with nothing. Simple, I know, but it never hurts to check.
Lenny Conundrum
It's really really simple - first thing I suspected. Hint: a = 1, b = 2, c = 3...
the total of all words on the list is 72
A+M+U+L+E+T = 72
and so are everything else on the list....
i think that's the pattern that we are all looking for...
Could you explain in more detail how you came to your answers?
I think it's that they all add up to 72.

I noticed this pattern too.
It's how I found my answer.
Follow the pattern
Oh no, I already sent it!
Oops, shows me for not waiting.
I was beaten! Assign a numeric value to each letter and then add up the values in each word. They all equal 72.
Lol
*runs to count the species letters*
so, now 2 species...
letters in names should be 72
So if all the rest have either 5 6 or 7 letters, can we assume to limit the two species names to only those with 5 6 or 7?
