The answer to last week's was 3563. This week's question was first posted on page 602, I believe. There was a lot of discussion over the next 9-10 pages as people looked for different ways to assign values to the words that would give a sensible answer for Terror Mountain. Personally, I came up with the same method kaitlyn did, so that is what I submitted.

hmm, i'd say you still have a shot i just got my trophy and i think i submitted my answer almost a whole day after the riddle came out

Thanks, kaitlyn. Sure does make a difference how you look at things, doesn't it? My first thought was to look at the number of points on the letters, so A has 2 (or 3 if you count the one at the top), H has 4, etc. Didn't add up, although Altador was somewhat close, depending on what you treat as a point. I didn't notice that the text was an image consciously, although I think maybe my subconscious did and decided that the form of the letters might be important.

Anyway, I guess 2.5 hours after it comes out is a lot better than the 3 days later I submitted last week's solution, although I didn't find this week's anywhere near as tough.

answer to this week
I added up the lines to TERROR MOUNTAIN and didn't get 24 or 44... i got a number 10 between?

You know just like you guys suggested (only I filled in the rest, don't want to totally give the answer out) and then added those letters up and got a different number as previously stated. Does the space count for something that would make it either 24 or 44? I just added it up as is without the space and i'm confused. Shocked

I originally thought it was the points in the letters (where two lines meet) but after looking at the lines it totally made more sense with the previously stated way.

Space has no value. Lots of numbers have been bandied about, not all correct. Once you understand the method, just go with the answer you get.

Yes, my question is this: Why can't people do a little bit of the work themselves? It isn't fair to those of us that at least try to come up with a solution and when given a clue or hint are willing to try and figure out the answer. I am really getting annoyed with the people that keep saying "I don't understand" or "Just give me the answer" And on that note I had better stop before I get nasty. Sorry, just had to vent a little.

Well, as far as I know, you're allowed to have extra accounts for galleries and shops - and thats ALL I use it for. I've NEVER done anything else with it before now. Well, of course I've played games with it to get np's to upgrade the gallery, but that's it. No dailies, no contests, no draws, no nothing.

I'm pure as snow - in that area :wink: hey, I used to be a premium member. Why would I waste money and then risk being thrown out by cheating?

Not premium anymore, can't afford it. Too poor these days Crying or Very sad

my mom has to buy my food.. She's a widow, and I have two younger siblings still living at home. Life really sucks.

i have found another way.

if you go to Shenkuu or to Altador, and count the number of places youcan visit, including the buttom 'return to...' clicks, you get 16. at faerieland - you get 28. in Terror Mountain, you get 32. i submitted 32.

thats a good theory but im going with 34 because of the adding lines theory. thus, the reason of it being an image...

well, there are many different answers floating around. I wrote all the answers i found down and closed my eyes and randomly picked one..so my instincts told me it was 34..well, it'll be out in around 1 day and 6 hrs..
