sadly, I've never been good at math I don't understand. especially since it seems like there is a pattern right under my nose...
Several Symols sat silently and snacked on sugary sweets.
there is 7 S in the first paragraph =o

"Well, and tea, too. But that would have ruined the alliteration."
they give a reason for that. unless you really think its relevant...
I'm drawing a complete blank here. I see no discernible pattern in the numbers (4 even, 2 odd; some prime, some not)meaning once again, they probably need to be changed or map to a location or something. Time to research symols....
Well seven first came to mind as all the other number in the first slot are 2-6...and then 8...non repeating. Maybe the 7th starts with a 7. THis does not account for the one...but...I'm reaching.
actually its:
13
13
6
15
17
13
Added them up and I got
4
4
6
6
8
4
Nothing yet..still working on it
// Look! A clock. Niiiice.
var nl = "en";
var nh = 3;
var nm = 45;
var ns = 22;
var na = "pm";
var ncl = new Array( 0, 53, 104, 137, 169, 198, 231, 265, 299, 335, 368, 397, 427 );
LOL found that in symbol whole page coding... don't think it helps at all!
This one well and sure is tricky.. I'm no good at math, and the whole thing about it being in inches only makes it worse, since we're metric here on good old Denmark =) but I'm trying to follow you guys in ordor to understand and, who knows, maybe learn something =) so keep at it!
I just heard this...don't know if its true though. but seems to fit.
something i have figured out is that the last digit cant be the smallest # and the first digit cant be the largest #
there are 7 symol shopkeeper...
ignore previous post..... i found an exception......sigh
And on that note, all though it is off topic, I just won 15k, a Battle Muffin and a Green Paint Brush on the Fruit Machine! Cool =)
I"m stumped, I have no clue where to even start every start I've done leads nowhere.
i tried adding each column of numbers and came to 77
4+2+3+5+6+8=28
2+5+1+4+5+2=19
7+6+2+6+6+3=30
no pattern i can think of on this one
all I know is that there are 7's scattered throughout
I did the column thing too...nothing. At first the code was looking nice (427 to 427, 256 to '265', 312 to '213) then it went out the window. I tried tallying the digit count....
0 - zero
1 - one
2 - four
3 - two
4 - two
5 - three
6 - four
7 - one
8 - one
9 - zero
Anyone see anything??? Sigh...these things drive me mad....
