I got pteri as well. Too bad I missed the update, it's too easy, I probably won't even get top 250.

I can't see pteri though. but now that I think about it.....kiko is as good as koi, but there is only one K in the second one.
That was my initial thought too, but it seems too predictable and not logical enough. It seems a bit simple. The answer is *** because you can get the letters from the stanzas.
dodo is right, there are double letters in some of the words in each that spell out the pets. and the second one spells out pteri.
great looking dodo:D
thanks!
Amidst the rubble
Skiing in a big hurry
The zoo awaits me.
I have been happy.
The little Kyrii is here,
With black currant jam.
Illustrate Shenkuu,
In a glass there is water,
Or in a vacuum.

Each haiku has a few words with double letters in them...the first=bori, third=usul, 2nd=pteri
TOO EASY!

Thanks for the help, I *really* hope I get the avvie this time.

Why too predictable? It works.
P= Happy
T= Little
E= Been
R= Currant
I= Kyrii
I see pteri,but not koi.
I said pteri,and answered 13 mins after update I hope I was in top I want the avie so bad

Yeah. I wasn't thinking like double letters.
I meant just random letters that form an anagram of the pets name. That's what I thought they meant.
Anyway, what time do you think the 250 finished at?
Anyone. Good luck til next week everyone.
Hope we got in the top 250.
See ya.
I answered pteri... as soon as it was posted here, lol. It made the "conundrum cogs" run more swiftly.
I posted pteri, but since it was so easy, I probably didn't get into the top 250. Goo luck everybody =)
I wish they would come out faster -sigh-
Just a few more hours until the next conundrum. I will get the avvie this time x_e
I promise myself! I am going to practically stalk this board xD The news updates at 4, right? In neopian time? Does that mean it will update as seven in real life? (At least, it'll be seven here where I live.)
hose creepy Meepits are at it again, coming up with math problems for you to solve!
In the following equation, M, E, and P represent specific digits.
(MEEP)base 5 + (MEEP)base 7 = (MEEP)base 8
What is the number represented by MEEP? For example, if M = 7, E = 8, and P = 9, you would submit the answer "7889"
New LC up!

oh gosh what stands for base???
LOL1 I'm old enough that we didn't study base numbers in school! So I'm googling base numbers now. Let's see how fast I can grasp the principle ...
me neither...I'm trying to figure it out...
base numbers
I'm only in middle school, but I remember a base number is the number that is the main number. Such as, 8 squared (The little two on the side.) and 8 would be the base, and the squared symbol would be the little 2.
