Further observing of the pet page I noticed that it has this on the petpage for Neocola.

I've heard of TNT making fake accounts for plots or other reasons, but that seems like an awful long time ago to have made it just for this LC, or for it to have remained untouched in all that time if a TNT account.

Well they do own the website they could just make it appear that way but really they edited it a few days ago.

http://www.neopets.com/allpets.phtml is roughly the correct order, minus the first few since they weren't keeping track then.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Neocola the pet before, so not likely. The bit about Neocola sounds more like flavour text anyway, and not THAT relevant to the conundrum. AAA as Neopedia entry #127 sounds like the most viable answer so far.

Since 127 is a prime number I tried plotting all the other prime numbers in the grid.

I'm not too good at the LC, and I know Grundo seens a little obvious.... but I'd go with the number 22. Neocola is bought in a shop and the Grundo bought it, so it would have been purchased in the Grundo shop (as a guess...) and if you go to the Grundo shop, the number 22 appears in the web address? And the number 22 s in the grid?

I know it's a long shot, but there's just as much evidence that it's a grundo as the rest of the neopets. And they could put odd numbers in there to throw you off. Theres just as much significance in 127 being in the list as there is in all the numbers that are excluded. I'm gonig for the Grundo, as it's the only neopet I can think of that has a direct link with the Space Station, and a number on the list. I'm only down 400NP if i get it wrong Very Happy

The conundrums often use prime numbers, so including 127 was their way of leaving us a big hint. I think mapping them out on the grid is right solution. It's too big a coincidence, otherwise.

As a side note, it's so frustrating that the new puzzle is always opens at the same time because it's the middle of the night where I live! I can't stay up all night, so it's practically impossible for me to answer first and get the special prizes anymore. Does anyone else think Neopets should give staggering start times a try? One week maybe start at 3am NST, then the next 2pm, it could be completely random. I think it would be much more fair.

put down buzz, if you fill in all the prime numbers on that grid it spells out "buzz"

also there are 50+ buttons all with one species of neopets on it. the grid thing is only the clue to which button to push. and the when solved it says buzz
