NeoPets Riddles (Lenny Conundrums) and Answers Here

I couldn't have done it without your help and you posting that webpage. I have never used this form of math before, so it is all new to me. But it couldn't be a coincidence that 4 of the numbers we were given showed in those cubes in a logical manner (ie first number and 5th number paired, 2nd and 6th paired).

Wow. That made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I'm not following any of this logic at all...

klo, you solved it correctly but it's a long way. I have been solved about 30 mins with this method

408 * sqrt(2) = 577
571 * sqrt(3) = 989
322 * sqrt(4) = 644
377 * sqrt(5) = 843

Oh. comeon... Now they're using squareroots?

O well, there's always next week...

Well in all honesty, songoku, I did not realize that I was using *sqrt. I was just following the table set out in the website anneska posted. Good to know what the logic is behind it all .

anneska, i used your web link and continued the pattern of the diagonal table that starts with 1 1 5, eventually it got me to 377 and 843 following suit right after each other like the 408 and 577 did. Hopefully this is right, b/c lots of people are claiming there is no math involved. But they are just probably trying to sway people from the right answer.

I finished at about 6:00 this morning, we'll see if I got it fast enough.

I am havin trouble with the new Lenny Conundrum

Conundrum Lenny was watching people playing the new Neopets game, "Stowaway Sting". He saw eight different people submit scores, and realized there was a pattern in the scores they were submitting:

408, 571, 332, 377, 577, 989, 664, ___

What was the eighth score submitted?

The text of the contest puzzler was posted yesterday, about 180 posts ago. Naturally, you're not just waiting for somebody to hand you the prize-winning answer on a platter. So you've gone through the last eighteen or so pages, reviewing the reasoning and logical arguments thus far, and... then what? I'm sorry to be so dense, but I feel like I must be missing something...?

Well, we've figured out the pattern, but what did the first sentence about Stowaway sting have to do with anything?

Could it be that now Lenny Conundrums are used as ads as well? O.o
TNT have added sponsor ads everywhere on the page, and I think it needs site ads to get more people to register so they can remove some of the sponsor links. Naturally, he sees the amount of non-neopean people working their minds off for each conundrum, thus they decided to put ads there. That is the most logical answer I could think of. Anyone else have any ideas?

maybe the game was just to put us of track. Not the first time they threw in useless information.

Most things like that on Neopets are randomly generated. Double check somewhere like pinkpt though if you're really curious. They know everything.
