I got 485.7610009. And it said to round to the nearest metre. So it's 486. But I am not sure.

I am not totally sure. I would wait for other opinions.

That's what I did. Hopefully it's correct.
And a reminder, Pythagorus is the Pythagorean Theorum.
A ^2 + B^2 = C^2.

Your answer looks correct but I already put in my answer and I submitted 355 because I forgot I had to round off the number.

My answer would be 356. But I'd wait untill someone confirms this accurate. But I already sent in my answer. Because if everyone puts in this answer and it's incorrect, I don't want to be responsible for the losses.

triangle ABC should be a right angle triangle. You can use py theorem to verify.

Dudes. The altitude from any triangle's vertex P is the perpendicular bisector of the opposite side iff the two sides meeting at P are equal... it's really obvious if you consider congruent triangles (BE common, BEC=BEA=90 and AE=EC yields AB=BC in the diagram on the top of this page.) Wasn't it at all worrying to find b has two different values (b^2 + 38612.25 = 274576 = 55696)?
