Using Excel, it takes... less than 10 min to find the answer...

I'm not sure but I think I may have added one answer twice, so I deducted it, so now I have those two answers. Did anyone else come close?

Weird...April 3rd didn't show up for me either.

Y8 starts on Jan. 1st. Because on the neopian calendar it says: Jan 1st - Neopia enters a new year! (Y9)

And I got 220223...which is probably wrong seeing that I never do anything right...

I got 4145 as an answer. Am I missing anything here?

YOu have to add a zero to the end of the 3 to get to that page.

Because the riddle says all conundrums posted in Y8. The first one, which gave out over 95K per person was first posted on Dec. 29. I didnt notice when I first added up the numbers so I didnt catch that till after I read the riddle another 10 times. =P

It's confusing, but Year 8 is 2006. Neopets turns eight years OLD 15 Nov 2007. [In Year 1, Neopia was only around for 46 days!]

Hey everyone! I'm new to the board, but I've been coming here after I figure out the L.C.s to see if I'm on target. Anyway, I too was confused over the whole Y8 situation, and I even went to another site that cataloged the Neopian Times and said that Year 8 started on November 15. However, I found this on the calendar on the Neopets website:


The month of Celebrating

* Dec 5th - Bruce Day
* Dec 12th - Wocky Day
* Dec 20th - Borovan Day - Everybody likes to drink a hot cup of borovan on this day!
* Dec 25th - Day of Giving - Gifts abound as all Neopia gets full of festive spirit
* Dec 28th - Ogrin Day
* Dec 31st / Jan 1st - Neopia enters a new year! (Y9)

That last bullet leads me to believe that Y8 is in fact the year 2006 in its entirety. But...who knows...I guess we'll find out in two weeks, eh?

hmm, i'm wondering if you really have to start on jan 1st. because it says Y8, and that started on november 15th. but that would be too easy, wouldn't it?!
