GO Lenny
The first digit ranges from -3 to +4. (Or zero to 4 ignoring the sign)

The second digit contains no 7's

the final digit has no 2's or 4's.

Could it be a way to spell things on a cell phone?

Also, the numbers seem to come in pairs: a positive numebr, followed by a negative one.

The exception being the initial 170:

The fact that each number appears as 3 digits also seems significant.

(87 as 087)

I don't think it's an area code - pretty sure those have a middle digit of 0 or 1. (At least they used to)

Also significant: no repeating numbers.

So we have a string of numbers, which all range between 000 and 499. (ignoring the sign for now)

The fact that there is one number, followed by 26 others, seems to point towards an alphabet code

By 26 pointing to an alphabet code, I mean perhaps a frequency count or something.

The alternating negative numbers throw me for a loop though.

It is strange that there are 26 numbers though.

Unless you use the ALT keys but that does nothing as well, not counting that there are negative number

not a brainiac momment but i counted 13 pairs + the original 170 and the only land in Neopia with that number of letters is terror mountain, but i highly doubt that they would make it that easy

Possible word cipher?

eg: 170 refers to 1st sentence, 7th word, 0th letter?

Nah - again, that zero messes it up.
