ok memory math check diameter is area x pi or area squared any one help me
I think the biggest circle would only fit on one sqaure any bigger and it would touch the other color...I am not good at math so I may be wrong

i'm thinking that they want the diameter because they said nothing about rounding the number and if it was to be the circumference then the number would have infident decimal places

C=3.14*D
C=3.14*5
C=15.7

Circumference is pi(r²)

couldnt be endless one since you would eventually touch a tan side

lc kacheekers
Quote:
Circumference is pi(r²)
so then it would be
C=3.14*6.25
C=19.625

Yes and r is radius and you stated r squared which = diameter which is what they said C=PIE X Diameter

i submitted "1 square" for my answer due to the fact that they didn't say to round the number or if they wanted the circumference or diameter

no r² is not equal to diameter, that would be 2r
r²=2.5*2.5=6.25
2r=2.5*2=5
and it's not your computer that is slow, it is the forum that is slow tonight
