You'll need to not only make sure your computers and smartphones are patched, but also install new firmware on your wireless router. Probably also a firmware upgrade for any printers or other external devices that connect wirelessly. Any wi-fi streaming video device for TVs (including smart TVs themselves) probably needs firmware too.

Appreciate the heads up. Had heard mention of this on the radio yesterday and read up some on it today.

I now have to sit in front of my customers and explain to them how they need to patch or discard obscure devices, while they have their password taped to the bottom of their monitors and UPS guys and FTD Florists wander around the building leaving packages in people's open offices, and across the hallway the computer room door is propped open because the cooling systems in the room aren't working.

Thanks for the headsup on this. It would be majorly damaging if all main wireless routers were compromised.
