Happy belated birthday, Kristie.

And, by the way..... I'm a midget.

(look out into the street. See me waving?)

Happy belated Birthday Kristie.

I know what you mean about getting shown up by the jesus kid... my birthday is today (the 28th)... one year I went over to my grandmothers house for christmas. She had a birthday cake for me. But when she brought it out, it said, "Happy Birthday Jesus and JP"... the little bastard even got named first on MY cake....

ha ha ha...I hear ya...

Well HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Drunk Mr. Green Drunk Mr. Green Drunk Mr. Green

I went home lasat night expecting at least a few cards in the mail or a phone call....one card. No phone calls. Not from aunts, friends or grandma. I got one f*cking birthday card from my hubby's aunt. I don't ask that people send me gifts or money any more but at least my own grandmother could call me or send me a card.

Sucks JP, don't it? Sad

Yeah it sure does...

I remember one year we spent Christmas at my aunt and uncles house up in Toronto. We spent my birthday driving home in a snow storm becasue everybody needed to get back in time for work the next Monday... what a happy freakin' birthday that was.

I never got many cards either. My brother and sister would get cards from all my aunts and uncles but I would only get one or two. I figured everybody is so tapped out from christmas they can't even afford the 2 bucks for a birthday card after christams. Laughing

Maybe we should start a club for those whose birthdays fall around christmas. We could sign up on a list and send each other birthday cards every year.

I have a friend whose birthday is on the 26th... he gets Kwanza(sp?) cards every year.

My mom's birthday is the 26th. My husbands is the 31st. He really gets a bum deal. NO ONE is celebrating his birthday. But on the up side, he can always find a party.

I think I must naturally flock to those who were born around Christmas.

It sure would be nice if people actually remembered, huh? Even if they were total strangers. Laughing

A remote starter for my car, a Prada purse, the Godfather trilogy on DVD and Band of Brothers book. Nothing bad....my mommy, and my hubby and his mommy love me. I was a good girl all year. Laughing

I have to say, it must suck to have your birthday so close to christmas. I bet there were many times growing up that your birthday was lumped with christmas as " one big party" for you huh??
