I looked on the memberlist page and I am now on page one! I used to be in the #51 slot, which is the top listing on page two, but thanks to a lot of beer and a flurry of posts over the holiday season, I have passed hobitbob and moved to the #50 spot.

Who is hobitboy anyway? The name sounds familiar, but I don't recall any recent posts by him.

Anyway, hobitbob is now eating my dust and I am fast approaching Wilso for the coveted #49 slot.

Someday, but this is probably just a crazy dream, I would like to reach the top thirty and dance with the A2K gods, but, realistically I don't think that's attainable. Not with the young gunslingers like kickycan coming along.

Kickycan has been here a year less than me but is already fast-approaching Dlowan, the crazed australian rabbit with the lightning fast fingers.

Which, furthermore, has me finding out I'm currently at #25.

That is uncomfortably, embarassingly high. I know my life's been a mess an' all, but really ... 12.6 posts a day (every day) ... and climbing, probably ... Shocked

I hate to sound stupid, but the only ranking I can find are a chronological listing of when members join. Where's the ranking by number of posts?

look at the bottom of the page D'artagnan and you will see a way to sort the stats.. ones being number of post

D'art...you got me beat by a month or two in joining A2k (I was #265, as I recall). And many, many folks have far more postings.
A lot of them make me laugh. Some make me angry, and some cause me to cry. I've never met any of the A2Kers in person. I probably never will.
That's what is cool about A2K and I hope that we never sink into some sort of elitism. "I was here back on page 1" or "I have 12000 posts."
Does this make any sense?
