What did you call Italy for? Did you speak italian?
All I said was, "Ciao sono Kris in Cambridge". I was about to continue with, "Parlare con Francesca?" when her mom rattled off some Italian I didn't know (couldn't keep up with) and went off to get Fran.
I was calling my housemate - she had been in a car accident last thursday and I wanted to check in with her.
She's in pain. It hurts all the time, but mostly when she coughs, laughs, sneezes, talks..... s'bad. They can't make a cast for the scapula or the sturnum. She said the sling that was supposed to help her scapula heal right made it hurt so she won't wear it. She'll be coming back later than planned.
Jesus, that sucks. Sorry to hear it, littlek.
oh my, fran was in an accident? what exactly happened to her - did she break her scapula? anything else?
Scapula and sturnum, maybe some ribs. One of those miracle survival things by the looks of her car, said the professionals (EMTs, cops, etc).
She said she called 911 - in Italy - and it got her to a dispatcher. She didn't realize that was strange until someone told her days later when she was explaining it to him. So, 911 works in Italy! Good to know. Or else she was delirious. But, from what she says, she sounded pretty lucid.
its baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack..............
ooooohhhh, that's pretty! Thanks!
