I have zero cows. I will buy 2 calves each month and I will keep them for 565 days and then sell them as market calves. How many calves will I have?
Year 1- 24
Year 2- ?
Year 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10?

3 11/16 calves after you start to sell them when day 565 arrives
With the leftover 5/16 calf, you can keep the head, tail, one full leg and some intestines in a freezer, and you can accumulate calves pieces until you complete a full one and be count as a unit for next years in your calculations.
