We gotta make a change...
It's time for us as a people to start makin' some changes.
Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live
and let's change the way we treat each other.
You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do
what we gotta do, to survive.

Motorcycle...nice. Couple words of advice, the first thing you should do is sign up for the MSF course, THEN buy the bike. You don't want to pick up any bad habits attempting to teach yourself, or having someone else teach you.

Invest $$ in some good riding gear: helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, pants. You don't want to screw around with safety on a bike.

beginnerbikes.com is a great resource for this stuff, and the forum isn't just about beginners.

The list is about change, dating isn't a novelty.

Ah, I have people I can write and talk to remotely. I need local immersion.

I have some Brazilian neighbours that I've been meaning to hit on anyway (see how this can tie into dating? Multitasking).

The bike is a while away because I can't yet justify the costsconsidering my other projects, but for when I'm ready what the heck is the MSF course?

Hey, the MX-6 with the V6 is a pretty quick car, if it's a stick.

You tracking it, Craven, or drag racing? I always wanted to track the 3-series I had, but didn't want to spend the $$ on seperate tires/wheels, and killing the brakes. Damn that woul dhave been fun.

My automatic Maxima on a racetrack would be as useless as a nipple on a foot.

The races I want to enter are tracks. I still haven't been to one (I missed one in November) so I'm not sure what it will be like.

Craven, MSF is "Motorcycle Safety Foundation."
http://www.msf-usa.org/

It's a 2-day course, and in MA completion would earn your licence. I took it despite previously owning a bike, because I wanted to make sure I was properly trained.

They have all these studies that show you're at a much lower risk of having a crash if you've taken the class.

1st day is classroom, 2nd day is spent riding bikes. It's actually pretty fun.

Something you should definitely do. I'd wait until you're about ready to buy, so what you learned is fresh on your mind.

I've heard those car racetracks are a lot of fun, and you can learn a lot from the other people there, just talking about driving techniques.

Thanks for the MSF info Slappy.

I have a co worker who races all the time. He has 3 cars and a bike and is the one getting me into it.

We practice on a fun onramp near work.
