If the sentence below is correct, may I use "done" and "finished" interchangeably?
1) When you're DONE / FINISHED with the paper, throw in/into the bin.
By the way, should I use "in" or "into"?

Both are more or less correct, although you would say "throw
it in the bin". Done is more common in US English, finished in British English.

I have to say that it is very unlikely that I would ever utter those words to anyone.
