Need a photo editing software for window 7

Hey folks! I need a photo editing software for window 7. I will use it to crop images and change contrast and brightness. Your recommendations could be of help. Thanks!

Don't you have Adobe Photoshop? It usually comes free with some cameras or scanners. You can get free download of it.

Thanks for that! Yup my friend is recommending Adobe too and other software program for editing and viewing. I'll check it first.
