Nothing about new sort of cavity = N???r?l

Cartoon character left at home with you and me = L?n??

1st is ESSENCE (compass points = ES + anagram of SCENE = character)

2nd is NOSTRIL (NIL for nothing + anagram of SORT = cavity)

3rd is LINUS (L for left, IN for at home, US for you and me)

Hello Sarah and Crisscross

Thank-you for your answers, Sarah the only thing I can think of is SPINACH but I don't think it's right. I can almost guarantee Crisscross will know it. What do you say Crisscross.
