Can anyone explain the process of testing light strands? I have about 2 miles of lights;half of which don't work.
You may want to chuck them and get new ones. I don't know about Florida but around here we always lose a house or two at Christmas due to faulty lights. And sometimes those fires are fatal.
Are you suggesting for safety's sake that new lights should be purchased every year? What is the maximum number of years they should be used before disposal?
Come on, ya cheapskate! Spend ten bucks and get new lights! Trust me, testing all those lights will cost you more in aggravation than it's worth.
Yeah I know, but I had just settled down in front of the TV watchin the games and it seemed like a pleasant past time...you know like knitting in front of the fireplace...anything to avoid climbing a ladder and stringing lights on the eaves.
Maybe this year you can just leave the lights up instead of taking them down at all! Save you time and money!
I just made 3 trips to the garbage cans with useless lights. My Christmas preparations are done. Thanks for the suggestions.
Muy bien, estas bienvenido.
