I need help with this:

log_2 x^2 = log_2 (2x+15)

I think the correct answer with work is
2^(Log_2 x^2) = 2^(log_2 (2x+15))
x^2 = 2x+15
x^2 -2x -15 =0
Then quadratic it to get 5 and -3
