@jcboy,
Hey, maybe that's why mine is six. I was born on May 6. Somehow, though, it just seem like a nice, comfortable number

@roger,
Roger, I know this is off topic but I have always associated (probably subconsciously) numbers with colors. Also days of the week. For example Sunday and Monday are white, Tuesday is orange, Wednesday is green Thursday is light brown, Friday is Black and Saturday is green. The number's colors are not as clear to me now as they were when I was a child, but the associations are definitely there. I remember 5 being white for sure but the others are not so clear to me now. Do you (or anyone else) have these associations?

@TomTomBinks,
It doesn't work that way for me, and I'm almost surprised it doesn't. High pitched sounds do seem associated with sour tastes.

I have to go with 1,001.

You look at it, and it certainly looks prime.
101 is prime, so you'd expect 1,001 would be as well.
Incapable of being split into other numbers multiplied together.

Before Newton, they thought white light was pure, and then he showed you could refract it and split it into colors.

Surprisingly, 1001 factors into 7, 11 and 13 -- a colorful trio of consecutive primes.

@roger,
I am fond of both 8 and 5.

8 is the unending number and 5 is my personal number. In both letters and number configurations, I am a 5. 5 permeates all aspects of my life and is perhaps the friendliest of all numbers.

I also kind of like the unique properties of 9.

@roger,
11 / 19

Can you have two?

11 - As a teenager, I liked the idea of "legs 11" I guess it was a girly thing, growing up and you know realizing I was, well, growing up.

19 Because like a lot have said, "birthday" date.

@FOUND SOUL,
I'm working out the possibilities of "legs 11" I may be able to get back to you on this.

By the way, I haven't seen you around much. It's always good when you show up.

For some reason it is 4. I've no idea why.

Unfortunately, for what it's worth, the Chinese think 4 is a horrid number and symbolizes death.
