Please help me. I can't understand the following text. Can you explain by simple words?
"Kissing Matt was like suddenly this cow in a sweater is bearing down on you, who will not take no for an answer, and his huge cow head is being flooded by chemicals that are drowning out what little powers of reason Matt actually did have".

Matt is bigger than the writer. The writer is comparing Matt to a cow. A cow is a much larger creature than a human. Matt is feeling passion and cannot think clearly. The writer felt physically overwhelmed.
