Dear Crisscross,

Thank-you so much I would have been going round in circles with this one. I am also a competition/crossword/puzzle addict, No doubt we will be in contact again. Bye Bye.

Hi canada

Yes, crisscross is a combination of my first name (chris) and the fact that I am a crossword/puzzle addict too.

Sorry I didn't see your question about the Zimbabwean grassland earlier - the answer is VELD if you don't have it yet.

Well the good news is that I finished the baffler...
The bad news is I am stuck on the stinker!!

Theres over ten I am stuck on so I won't put them in here unless someone's there....cos it will take forever and I have a feeling the people who started this topic have long since finished their Lovatts' for this month and have vacated.
So if anyone is there and willing to help let me know and I'll start typing clues and patterns Smile

Ok I think I've got it now... Large (yacht) is pahi...thanks to the answer you left me in the other topic, and stalactites and stalagmites is speleothems which gave me an s in the middle of the olympic sailing class one which I then changed from luger to laser. Is that all sounding about right? I hate to think that I spent hours on it got one wrong and it was all for nothing.
