Which of the following sentences is correct?

1) It's April the first.

2) It's the first of April.

"April First" is the most common usage (from where I sit). "The first of April" is also fine.

Repeatedly what exactly, centrox? Should you be offering any answer if you cannot handle the basic formation of a sentence yourself?

Additionally, if the question poser offends you so much, why not just skip their threads?

Agreed Sturgis. This type of question is perfectly appropriate here.

Centrox can either choose to help, or just move on. There is no need for nasty comments.

Locally, you are more likely to hear, "it's April 1st"
