This cold winter caused the robins to stay in Florida longer then usual. Normally they would leave while the strawberries were still green. Now they are destroying the Florida strawberry crop.

thats really strange, here in colorado the robins are usually gone south by Oct and yet this year i have been feeding them all winter. they never seem to have left.
Dys - they're gone south from new england as well - usually. I saw one poor little Robin all huddled up in the mid-january super cold spell.
Maybe we should conclude that they're all confused?
