Which of the following sentences is/are correct?

1) He opened the bag that contained all his possessions and GOT OUT a pen, a piece of paper, and some string.

2) He opened the bag that contained all his possessions and TOOK OUT a pen, a piece of paper, and some string.

3) He opened the bag that contained all his possessions and PULLED OUT a pen, a piece of paper, and some string.

If all three are possible, do they mean the same thing?

Thank you.
