ponytail one handed???

Hmm I wonder if a topsy tail device would help at all. Basically,
it's a loop on a hard plastic handle.

There's actually a facebook page from an occupational therapist for a device she devised for creating one-handed ponytails. There are quite a few youtube demos for it.

The difficulty is that most of them are for low ponytails which are generally easier to create than high ponytails. Also - it is easier to do with longer hair than shorter hair - but, it is possible.

It's pretty easy to create these little things if you have any friends/family who are ok with basic crafting.

Thanks Beth. I did look at that but I thought it was quite a thick band once wrapped around a few times. I'll have a look at getting a friend to make one with a shorter band though.

The bands aren't particularly thick - the key is finding the right size button that is good for you to work with. It may take a couple of tries to create one but the concept is really quite wonderul.
