The first snow in Lithuania. Australians are happy, they have spring. EU is sad, there will be winter. What about winter in other countries?
We had our share of snow in Boston last week. The only solace this winter is that it cannot possibly be colder and longer than last year! And, I am determined to go skiing a lot this year. Last year was the first one since 1980 that I didn't go.
Thnaks for the picture Dalius - it's very pretty. I can almost smell the firewood smoke. Oh, wait, that's from my neighborhood. It's getting cold here in the the NE of the states.
Here in the Poconos--two hours drive SW of NYC--we've had a few flurries.
We have just about one full month of autumn ahead and I intend to look at every raindrop and exult, "This could be snow--but it isn't" from now until spring.
We had some snow in November, too, here in the south of Germany. Now it's just rain.
Dag, I love your signature! I got that in German by email from a friend last week. All the girls I sent it to agree ;-)
we are begging for that privilege
