This is the very problem true conservatives have with giving the govt power over The People. Power corrupts. Regardless of party.
For liberals it's a fan kind of love as if the president is a celeb. No matter what he does it's great. Obama did some truly illegal things. He also spent so much money the nations credit rating dropped for the first time in history. He saddled youth with a huge debt - yes, that debt won't hit you until you are older and then you are going to poo your pants For conservatives it's a desperation to find the one guy ballsy enough to take some of the govts power and give it back to The People.
Trump wss a hard core business man. An asshole if you will. People hope that he has the balls to fight the career politicians. Meanwhile, liberals are protesting and trying to impeach him in order to give more and more power over themselves to the govt. (whether they realize that IS is the end result of what their are asking or not)
Our founding fathers had a brilliant idea. Rather than give power to a handful of people over many, let's reverse it. Let's give The People power over the govt.
The entire world marveled at how brilliant our founding was and how successful our nation became without politicians and royalty leading, but rather with The People leading.
We began losing that power little by little because the govt is a master manipulator and creates problems it claims only it can solve, then whips The People into a fury over the issue and grabs more and more power away from the people as it passes bills and laws to solve the problem govt made in the first place.
Obamacare was one of those fake problems. The problems it solved did not exist. We already had programs to insure the poor, cover prexisting, etc. the problems that did exist it did not solve.
Medical marijuana is another. We already had laws to provide medical marijuana, but much like immigration they never took effect until the govt made sure it had the ability to tax the farming and manufacture. I'm sure those that got farming contracts made huge donations to the Political party awarding contracts.
Glass ceilings were another fake one to drive women into the work force so that they 1) put more money into the economy and 2) could not sufficiently raise their children. Not having time in life to talk about the history of the country and your own experience (which is at odds with what the govts is telling your children) is another way to make sure you can manipulate those kids when you need to.
Cost of college was another. When student loans were introduced the cost of college had not increased significantly from 1964-1980. You could attend Perdue for less than 20.00 a credit hour. The govt put student loans in place just SO college would cost you more. The govt PURPOSELY raised the cost of college tuition. Now, if the people were not idiots they would have rejected student loans and the cost of college would have increased at the same pace as inflation rather than 6000%. Yes, 6000 percent!
Racism is another. That is just fake. If it wasn't white people would refuse to work or go to school with black people, shop where black people are employed, they wouldn't watch movies with black stars or buy their music or emulate them in dress or mannerisms as many people do today. As you know, black celebs are the hot ticket. The govt created racism and now wants to take your money to solve it.
You see, other people's money is easy to waste. And easy to take when you are a large, powerful govt. Look at what govt did to Sweden. What a shame.
The govt uses young adults who don't know any better to achieve its goal and then makes those same young adults foot the bill. And they never see it coming because they don't have the experience of their elders who have already had the Oh ****, aha moment when they discovered what the govt was up to and they reject anything their elders tell them. Of course until about 1960 and the hippie movement people did believe and value the advice of their elders, but the govt took care of that with the glass ceiling and by taking over the schools to manipulated education. P.s. The fed govt was not always in charge of schools.
In my youth we had the coming ice age. Yep, move south it's about to be the arctic everywhere! Of course the climate has been heating up and freezing up since before man. And, according to Obamas own figures we would have to stop using any and every vehicle on the planet for 30 years to affect one degree of climate change. Not gonna happen.
Unfortunately, it only takes one generation for the facts of the previous generation to be forgotten. So, when the govt tells you something to whip you into a fury and USE you to achieve their machiavellian end, you believe it.
