Change for a dollar

I don't know how to figure it out but I imagine that it is true.

American currency works like this:

There are 100 pennies to a dollar.

There are 20 nickles to a dollar.

There are 10 dimes to a dollar.

There are 4 quarters to a dollar.

There are 2 fifty cent pieces to a dollar.

There is 1 dollar coin to a dollar.

With all those different coins I think there would be at least 293 combinations.
