I know that this woman has money, and can provide a lot of help with the babies. Although it is her right, personally, I think that it is terribly unfair to have children at a time when the mother herself is on in years.

I once dated a young man of 19. He had a brother in his forties, and a nephew who was older than him. His folks were in their late sixties, and appeared to be more like grandparents than parents. They were certainly not at the stage in life where they had the energy to parent a teenager.

The boy of my uncle. My mother is about 40 and uncle is 30.

Hell, I was 40 when I had my son, and THAT was too old!

Heck, I never wanted kids past the age of 30 as I KNEW I would never have the energy for it! I had mine at 23 and 27 and and to me that was perfect timing. By the time my two get around to having kids of their own, I just may have recouped enough energy to enjoy being a grandmother! Hmmm...I am getting an 11 year old son when I get married next year. Aye carrumba! Those teen age years again!

I'm 40 and my son will be 18 next summer and that works for me. I couldn't even imagine having a child now, never mind 56. Wow!!! I hope she loves kids, lol.
