Also, from what I've heard on the radio, Lancaster doesn't have it's own fire department(this may be wrong), so these people aren't paying taxes on a fire department anyway.
About 1/2 of the town people voted against helping this family out...I'm sure if one of their own family died fighting a fighter, they wouldn't refuse to pay towards the pension. Hopefully, it turns out for the positive.
Yeah, sounds like there's still hope with the provisional ballots.
As it stands, from what I read, it sucks. :-(

I wonder how those 1600 or so people who voted against this would feel if the fire fighters decide not to risk their lives by entering house to save love ones.
