A confused sheep saw its reflection in a car door and in a fit of rage attacked the vehicle - causing more than £1,000 of damage.

The incident, which happened while a 58-year-old driver, from Leeds, was on holiday in Scotland, was one of the more bizarre claims made to Churchill insurance last year.

Animals and children were responsible for some of the stranger claims received by the company.
