LOL, They had a contest to find the best slogan for a new development. I won with:

Fair Oaks;you'd be so nice to come home to.

Fair Oaks, panz? Maybe you should have extended the slogan to read:

You'd be so nice to come home to,
You'd be so nice IN the fire. Smile

Wonder what song KP's person picked.

I don't think there's a firm choice, yet, Letty.

Thanks for your suggestions. The wedding is due to take place in June, so there's plenty of decision time!

Happy New Year, everybody.

Dequace, Welcome to A2K. Sunrise, Sunset is haunting. Makes me recall my little ones:
Artist: Lyrics
Song: Sunrise, Sunset Lyrics

(Tevye)
Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?

(Golde)
I don't remember growing older
When did they?

(Tevye)
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he get to be so tall?

(Golde)
Wasn't it yesterday
When they were small?

(Men)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze

(Women)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears

(Tevye)
What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?

(Tevye)
Now they must learn from one another
Day by day

(Perchik)
They look so natural together

(Hodel)
Just like two newlyweds should be

(Perchik & Hodel)
Is there a canopy in store for me?

(All)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze

Sunrise, sunset

A tiny tear of remembrance

How About Would You Lay With Me, recorded my Tanya Tucker? It was written by David Alan Coe, for his sister's wedding.

By David Allan Coe
WOULD YOU LAY WITH ME IN A FIELD OF STONE
IF MY NEEDS WERE STRONG, WOULD YOU LAY WITH ME
SHOULD MY LIPS GROW DRY,
WOULD YOU WET THEM, DEAR
IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR,
IF MY LIPS WERE DRY
WOULD YOU GO AWAY TO ANOTHER LAND
WALK A THOUSAND MILES THROUGH THE BURNING SAND
WIPE THE BLOOD AWAY FROM MY DYING HAND
IF I GIVE MYSELF TO YOU
WOULD YOU LAY WITH ME
IN THE STREAM OF LIFE
WHEN THE MOON IS FULL,
WOULD YOU BATHE WITH ME
WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME,
WHEN I'M DOWN AND OUT
IN MY TIME OF TRIAL,
WOULD YOU STAND BY ME
WOULD YOU GO AWAY TO ANOTHER LAND
WALK A THOUSAND MILES THROUGH THE BURNING SAND
WIPE THE BLOOD AWAY FROM MY DYING HAND
IF I GIVE MYSELF TO YOU
WOULD YOU LAY WITH ME
IN A FIELD OF STONE
IF MY NEEDS WERE STRONG,
WOULD YOU LAY WITH ME

Tanya caught a lot of flack for recording this song when she was ain her teens... some stations wouldn't play the song. Actually it's not an overly suggestive song at all.
