Hey!
I would like to know what a particle accelerator that is used in quantum physics experiments is and how much it would cost to either buy or build one. I find quantum mechanics very fascinating and am thinking about trying some experiments on my own, that's why I'm asking.
Cheers!
@elias0012,
Can't say. They seem to be out of reach except for a few governments and universities.
@elias0012,
This is the how to guide for backyard particle accelerator creation for boys with a shed or girls with a she den.

Then later with a little more pocket money.

@roger,
i liked it better when you were wrong
the last thing the world needs is a backyard particle accelerator
@djjd62,
I think she described a laptop accelerator. That might be worse.
@roger,
about the only thing worse would be a lap dog accelerator
