Can I mix a light lavender with light ash brown to get a purple tint?

I'm currently a level 7-8 brassy blonde after years and years of dying my hair black and it doesn't suit my skintone whatsoever. I'm naturally a light ash brown. I want to go back to that but I want to have a slight purple tint to it. Is that possible by mixing two ion colors together? Ions light ash brown and ion lavender? I would like to be able to do this at home. My past 2 bleachings were done at a salon for 200 bucks each so I'm trying to save a little money.
